Glass discs are approximately 17mm in diameter.
Hoop earrings are 25mm in diameter. They have butterfly backs.
What are the discs and earrings made from?
The discs are made from borosilicate glass. The earrings are medical grade stainless steel.
How are these earrings made?
We start by making the discs,winding glass round a steel rod to create the shape. Discs are hand made one at a time using a lampwork torch, so each and every one is unique. The discs are then annealed to ensure strength and durability before being cleaned and added to the hoops.
Care for your jewellery
The best way to care for silver is to keep it in airtight packaging such as the tin it comes in when it’s not being worn.
If it does tarnish (which is completely normal) it can be cleaned with a silver polishing cloth.
Stainless steel findings don’t tarnish. They can be cleaned with soap and water if necessary and polished with a soft cloth.
Glass can be cleaned with soap and water and polished with a soft cloth.
We recommend you don’t sleep, shower or swim in your earrings.
